Scarlet Qi Pao Dress

After 8 years and repeated customer requests, we finally made a Qi Pao 

旗袍! Also known as Cheongsam

长衫, this is a style of Chinese dress popularized in the 1920s and '40s by socialites and high society women in Shanghai. It's a tailored, figure skimming design that accentuates curves and embodies femininity. In our take on the dress, we lengthened the sleeves (cap sleeves are just a no), added a side pocket (!), and loosened the fit for a more flattering and modern spin on a legendary classic. 

• 100% hand dyed xiang yun sha silk
• The Scarlet print is a lightweight, buttery silk
• Silk frog clasps closures throughout
• Side pocket
• Slits on both side seams
• Hidden back zipper
